In addition to above...
The Reversal accrual entries dated immediate first day of
the next period are generated straight way in R12 whereas
in 11i it genertes after closure of current accounting
period.
Secondry segment tracking is introduced in R12 whereas it
was not there in 11i
AP/AR Netting is the new functionality added in R12.
Refunding in AR could be done in R12...which was a
cumbersome task in 11i.
New Intercompany Functionality has been introduced in R12
