Why can't we use few transformations in mapplet ? like xml
and target defintions, seq etc ?

If it allows Target and other transformations instead of
mapplet we can very well use Mapping.
Mapplet nothing but(parameter concept) set of
transformation logic you can use for similar kind of
mappings and save your time.
