calculating the ct ratings depend on the load either motor circuit or transformer circuit. for example if we have a motor which full load current is 160A then we need a ct 200A/1A or near.Mean that primary current is 200A and secondary current is 1A which is usually use for measuring the motor current on running condition. Because measuring instruments are design for low current inputs mean that 1A is equal to 200A and when motor running on 100A then its equal to 0.5A but measuring device configure it to 100A on display.

The DC generaror,s induced output emf is connected with a DC motor(as load). when increasing the load of the motor by using brake drum or any way. what are the parameters will changes in both motor and generator(voltage, current, resistance, frequency, speed, torque, power, flux etc...) 2. Hi Suppose we have a wye/wye transformer which is grounded at both sides,in this situation, do we have ay ground transformer? in other words, ground transformer can do any thing more (while we have nuetral wire in both sides)? As the last question, what about 3rd harmonic? we have two choices: first using wye/delta transformer + ground transformer and second using wye/wye earthed connection.in the former choice, we dont have 3rd harmoonic at the secondary side but what about Yn/yn conection? do we suffer from 3rd harmonic in the Yn/yn connection?
