What is use of Licence Data tab in SU01 ? and they have types
like CAT-II,CAT-III,CAT-IV what is its use then ? Is there any
difference between these ?

License type is to limit the user access,
it defines what type of user he is and also it defines the
cost that need to be Paid for SAP license.. Hence to Avoid
unnecessary cost on this SAP team will Cyclically Check the
System For Not In USe Id's These will be deleted after the
approval of the Executive to Avoid the Unnecessary Cost.
Definetely there is a difference in this.
Example: a suplier or vendor will be allocated with Limited
Professional User License ie.,CAT-III wil have only the
limited access to the sap they can only have the access to
the related data and to display the report, Whereas
Employee user in the Company will be allcated based on thei
designation CAT-I or CAT-II which was also called as
professional Users
