In covalent solid all the molecules are linked by covalent
bonds, i.e the bond formed by sharing of electrons.In Ionic
solids the molecules are linked by ionic bonds, i.e the
bond formed by the transfer of electrons.Ionic solid is
stronger than covalent solid.
