In a running D.G set engine and Alternator is revolving at
1500RPM but no output in the terminal>>>>what to do??
someone told excitation problem ....please advice
Answer Posted / sagar
There is AVR i.e Automatic Voltage Regulator in Alternator. You need to check its settings. There are two knobs provided V+ to increase voltage & V- to decrease voltage of alternator.
If after increasing V+ there is no change in voltage at alternator terminal then check excitaion system.
