What is the difference between pipe and tube?

a pipe can never be made with out schedule/NB etc and pipe ID/OD/NB will change as per size and schedule but there is no specific standard for tube. a tube ID can be 5mm and wall thickness can be 10 mm.
tube use to transfer the heat but pipe use to transfer the fluid.
tube is identified by OD and thickness but pipe identify by schedule/ NB.
