Why would an Engineer consider combining FEEDBACK and
FEEDFORWARD control in some applications?

In some applications, the compensation provided by feedback control is not sufficient.
Also, the feedforward control is faster but it is difficult to predict all the manipulated variables.
Hence a combination of both is used.
