1.How do I assign roles to a specific group, not to a
specific user, and apply the roles to all users in that
group? This particular group has four users.?

Hey If you have LDAP mapping with SAP R3 then you may create user group there and can assign ldap role which is mapped to SAP role . SO as soon these user are created in LDAP and usergroup is assigned there , background job will sync-up (if background job scheduled)and sap user will be assigned those roles. But for this to happen you need to map it correctly with LDAP. In R3 you can find t-codes for LDAP configuration starting with LDAP.
