: There are two pipes A and B. If A filled 10 liters in a
hour B can fills 20 liters in same time. Likewise B can
fill 10, 20, 40, 80,160….if B filled in (1/16) th of a tank
in 3 hours, how much time will it take to fill completely?

pipe A-->10 ltrs in 1 hr,
pipe B-->20 ltrs in 1hr(as per the question),
1/16th part of total tank is filled in 3 hrs
total vol of tank is X let
***x/16-->3hrs,
***40 ltrs-->3hrs(as per the question),
so x/16=40
x=640.....
10 ltrs-->1hr
20 ltrs-->2hr,
40 ltrs-->3hr

640 ltrs-->7hrs
