data warehouse
1. DW is a collection of information for all enterprise wide.
2. it usually contain the historical data.
3.information for analysis diff. department.but can manipulate/alter the data after authorization permission.
4.store the data for corporate view.
data mart
1. it is a part of the DW.
2. its gives the total information of the particular department.
3. it allow the user to update the data for transactional use.
4. it's mostly used by the department view.
