if u give d.c. supply to transformer primary then what happen.&why??????????????

Answer Posted / anirudh garg

if we give a dc suppy to a transformer then as the rate of change of flux is zero so no induction process ill occur but in primanry current is there ans it will effect the primary coil if it is kept for long time (if small dc applied )the wire get heated up and burn .
