the name it self contains which break the circuit during the faulty conditions. it is a over current protection device, whenever the fault has been occurred on line it separate the healthy condition of a circuit from the faulted one. it has mainly two parts moving contact and fixed contact by using these two contacts it can make or break a circuit.
