For 15 people--each has to pay Rs.20.For 20 people--each
has to pay Rs.18. For 40 people--how much has each to pay ?
Answer Posted / hai
for 15---20---300
for 20---18---360
increase in 5 people discount is 40 (since 20*20=400
original amt but paid 360 i.e discount is 40)
for 40 people increase in people is 25 (40-15=25)
for 25 people disc is 25*40/5 =200
actual amt for 40 people is 40*20=600 deducting disc amt
paid by 40 people is 400
so each pays 10/-
