why diesel engine does not have spark plug like petrol
engine, how ever petrol is better fuel than diesel?
Answer Posted / niranjan kumar
as we know if we design diesel engine like petrol its
compression ratio will be low. so the diesel+air mix will
not reach to fire point temp of diesel .and after spark the
reaction time will be very high . ibn that time piston can
reach to bdc so burning of fuel will be waist. and it stop
the piston at bdc due to burning .and jurk ll be there. so
low efficiency..........and no working. or we work on
diesel engine then due to CR IT WILL GAIN ITS FIRE POINT
TEMP. SO SELF IGNITED. SO NO REQ OF SPARK.........K BUT ONE
CONFUSION WHY WE INJECT DIESEL INSTEAD OF MIXING WITH
AIR??????????
