There are 6 steps involved in testing life cycle...
1) Test Planning-Here high level plan including test objective,test schedule,resources are mentioned
2) Test Design- Here we can create test cases,priorotize test cases, review test cases etc.
3) Test Implementation- create test scripts using automation.
4) Test Execution-Execute test cases using test enviornment.
5) Test Analysis- Here data usually will be obtained from defect tracking system. So we can calculate key indicators.
6) Postmortem Reviews- Here we can have discussion about lesson learnt from this system....
