ESIC Computer skill test with 50 marks (in 25mins of duration) has the following pattern.

1) U need to type the given passage in ms-word,
2) U need to enter the given date in ms-excel.

30Marks-- For typing all the given data
10Marks-- For formatting the above typed data (like bold, linespacing, alingments, etc...)
10Marks-- For Data entry in ms-excel( Ex: Calculating total, etc..)

Suggestions:
a)Need to know at least basics of computer (Especially for non-comp students)
b)Better join for type course to improve ur efficiency to complete the task with in the given time.
c)Even computer people need to know each and every menu options where they are actually located.
d)Practice ms-word and ms-excel in both 2003 & 2007 versions.. Bcoz u may feel some inconvenience when u depend only on single version..
