I think this question is in regard to TRNSITIVE ATTRIBUTE:
A characteristic that has its own attributes can itself be
called out on another characteristic as an attribute. If
the reporting user needs to access an attribute's attribute
(known as transitive attributes), advanced data
Modelling via Info Sets, the Analysis Process Designer, or
other techniques are required to make this happen.
