why core losses and copper losses does not depend on power
factor?
Answer Posted / tarun aggarwal ymca
Core loss depends upon the voltage applied & ohmic losses depend upon the current flowing & none of these losses depend upon the power factor
actually it is a tricky question we can say that in Loaded transformer when power factor of load changes the current changes in transformer so will the ohmic (cu) loses and lly when current more lag the Voltage the magnetizing and demagnetizing of iron (cause of core lose) is always have effect on it more the current lag more late the flux will reach reach it maximum value in comparison with voltage
this Question require some cool thinking, all things are indirectly
