A and B can do a piece of work in 72 days; B and C can do it
in 120 days; A dn C can do it in 4 days. Who among these
will take the least time if put to do it alone?
Answer Posted / kamal singh
sounder
w.o mathematical calculation also we can easily determines the ans
A & C = 4 DAYS MEANS BOTH OF THEM TAKES LESSER TIME THAN THE "B" becoz when B includes then time taken for work is too much
so its clear that B will take more time than A & C.
now look at this when B WORKS WITH A IT TAKES 72 DAYS
B WORKS WITH C IT TAKES 120 DAYS
B IS COMMON TO BOTH
IT MEANS WE CAN NEGLECT B's WORK
HENCE IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT A WILL TAKE LESS TIME THAN OTHERS.
