shall we use a machine having 60Hz frequency in india ? why?

In India, Electrical power is generated at 50Hz, unlike UK
US and other western countries.
A 60Hz motor should not be used as it may get damaged.
However you can use it with the help of a VFD (variable
frequency drive)
