No the water level comes down.
This is a tricky question and as they have given that the
ice is submerged, so forget about density etc.
The question is related to basic fundamental property of water.
Unlike most other substances, water expands upon cooling
(remember the bulge in ice cubes in fridge although the
water was flat when u kept it in the freezer). As water
expands on cooling, the ice takes larger volume and when it
melts and becomes water, its volume is less and as such,
water level decreases...
