what will happen if a 3 phase motor is connected to a single
phase circuit and vice versa?

if 3 phase motor connected to single phase supply ,single
phasing happen in motor and motor will take high current
.3pphase motor require 3 phase supply for producing roating
magnetic field.so do not connect 3phase motor to single phase

why would amp draw on neutral wire be as much as amp draw on the hot leg.
