ONE REASON IS GENERATOR CURRENT AND 22 KV CAN BE FED DIRECTLY TO THE LOAD FOR SMALL POWER REQUIREMENTS AND REDUCTION TO DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS OF 11 KV WILL IMPROVE EFFICIENCY.
