PLC is programmable logic controller. It has got wide
application like controlling a drive, motor or any other
batch process. PLC's have got capacity to handle less
number of input.
DCS is distributed control system. It has got application
where there are large number of inputs/outputs. Used for
large process handling.
SCADAA is supervisory control and data acqusition. SCADA
System usually consists of the following subsystems:
PLC, HMI,RTU.

If a control valve is hunting means means if we are giving 50% to the cv, the cv will open at 51% then slowly slwoly it will reaches 49% , so what to do for solve this problem. The cv is double acting and mounted for anti surge operation, it having 4 nos. volume booster, one sov, one positioner, etc..?
why use 50% lel methane gas concentration for gas detector calibration instead of 60% lel gas concentration whereas the hi alarm set at 60% lel.

Regarding , there is an air cooler which control the fans(50% of AV FANS) by temperature in outlet , and the louver of Air cooler is controlled by HIC from control system , So if on Air cooler we will consider 2 individual I/P converter or positioner?

I was working on calibrating turbidity transmitters endress+hauser at effluent polishing plant.We calibrated using NTU buffers.What happened is that when we immersed the sensor, everytime we raise and lower the sensor gradually, the reading will vary.my question is that is there any specifications on what is the required distance from the bottom of the container with buffer to the face of the sensor?Is it ok to install the sensor in a medium which has turbulence specially if bubbles are present?
