What is RTCC panel and why it is required
Answer Posted / kiran
It stands for Remote Tap Changing Controller. This is used
to maintain Constant voltage at the secondary side of the
Transformer i.e at the load side by suitably changing the
tap positions at the primary side automatically.
It really is a boon to power industry as the load varies
heavily which is largely inductive so the power factor &
voltage is to be maintained, which is possible using this
RTCC.
It is also known as Automatic Voltage Regulator.

A Generator is in running condition and Rotor earth fault alarm is coming. How to check on line(i.e in running condition) whether there is actual earth fault in rotor or not.
When calculating the speed of a rotor required for a particular frequency of synchronous generator we use the equation 60f/p Is this p is the number of pole pairs of rotor & do we consider the number of pole pairs in the stator is 1?
