Performance monitoring with iostat,vmstat & netstat
iostat -xtc gives disk r/s w/s kr/s kw/s wait %w %b
if the percentage busy(%) of disks is greater than 5 and service time is greaterthan 30 milliseconds we have to perform actions like
spread the file system
move the file system
tune the file system
Increase the system parameters
VMstat procs mem rss pipo faults cpu swapfree
netstat destination gateway flag Interface
