What current can be carried by 25 sqmm copper cable safely?

Answer Posted / shantanu mishra

100 Amps. You can take current density as 4 amps per square
mm for copper. For Aluminium cable it can be taken 2 Amps
per square mm. This also depends upon many other factors
such as whether cable is under ground, or burried or
whether it is overhead. tou shouls also takeinto account
ageing factor also.
