What is RTCC panel and why it is required
Answer Posted / nata
RTCC means Remote Tap-Changer Control. The function of RTCC
is to maintain the voltage in the transformer via OLTC. If
there's change in the load, like more current inject, hence
the voltage decrease, so RTCC will change the voltage to its
normal operating position by change the tap position. when
the current become stable, it will tap to normal position
like before. the tap itself function as to lower or raise
the voltage so that it can be maintained.
