mostly i have backlogs in languages if u have compare to
theory. i payed much attention to the theory subjects than
languages so in first attempt i got failed later i
recovered.

Are immigrant parents (got green card just 6 months before) going to have negative impact in getting F1 visa when all other things are very good? (good undergrad result, test scores, very high ranked university I-20 with TA, strong financial strength in home country..)

hi, I going to the US for my masters in spring. Its my dad who is sponsoring me. But he just retired a few months back & hence is no longer paying any IT(income tax). Hi, I just have a question regarding my PhD admission with North Dakota State University without assistantship. I have already completed my Masters from NDSU and was working in the US for a couple of years, I however returned to India last year. I was in touch with my guide concerning pursuing my PhD at NDSU. I have now been offered admission at NDSU for the PhD program for Fall 2010, and I have also finalized my research area (extension of Master's research area), however I have not been given an official assistantship / aid letter from my department. My department is however saying that I will be definitely offered assistantship if I land up at NDSU in Fall. My concern is now about the Visa interview in which I will have to show personal liquid funds for 5 years of doctoral study. Can you please suggest a way by which I wont be asked to show 5 years of funding..since I have unofficially got the assurance of aid/tuition waiver. Please let me know.

hi i had many back logs n my engineering is now for 6years can i still apply for visa interview round?
i am yet to finish my bpharmacy but my gre score is 278 my question that i have around 20 backlogs and the reason i couldnt clear them on time was due to health reasons wat are my chances of getting through the visa interview but the plus pt is i have been to the us as a tourist . is it necessary that i shud show my health certificate to prove that i was indeed ill the thing is that i have wasted 2 yrs writing my backlogs but in the mean time i have also worked in a pharma company for abt 1and half yrs so there any scope.
