What is the difference between RMS and average value
Answer Posted / waqas
RMS value is Root of mean of the square of a sinusoidal signals instantaneous value.
Average value is sum of negative and positive side of a DC signal wave.
Average value for AC signal is always zero because half cycle of sinusoidal is +ve And half cycle is -ve so its sum will always be zero
