Inspector of incometax is still Group - C posts only. But
as per the govt. of india circular issued during sep/Oct,
2009 the posts carrying grade pay of 4200, 4600, 4800 &
5400 are classified as Group B and posts with grade pay of
1800, 1900, 2000, 2400 & 2800 are classifed as Group - C.
there is really a doubt whether Ins. of IT is Group-B or
Group-C. Even i WANT A CLARIFICATION REGARDING THIS FOR
APPLYING TO COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL 2011 EXAM.
