difference between analog pressure gauge & digital pressure
gauge?
Answer Posted / raamki
to understand this difference, first u must know what is a
pressure gauge.A pressure gauge is a device that is added in
series to a line where the pressure of a substance is
measured. It is commonly used in hydraulics and pneumatics.
The difference between the analog and digital is that in
analog u must note the pressure values by the movement of
the needle. this may cause the very common error in
measurement called the human error. to avoid this u must
take a set of readings and find an average of them. This
makes too tedious. but in digital u can have an accurate
reading and there is no possibility for human reading errors.
the other reason is that the resolution of the gauge in
digital is more than in analog.
