why mccb is not tripping when phase & neutral terminal are
interched ?
Answer Posted / basayya hiremath
mccb is protectve divise over load and shotr ckt, dipinding
ka rating of the mccb supose 25 ka mcc using this mccb
withastading ofthe current up to 25ka .u whant when phase
and nutrul shotr downstrim side using the mcb this will
trip u what to nutrul protect or earth fualt u can use cbct
incomming side of the mccb with shunt coil in side the mccb
and defending opan idmt curv

When we have earthing mesh or underground earthing network in industrial plants, weather we have NT-S or NT-C-S kind of earthing system, so eventually weather we must use 4 or 5 wire in 400 volt level (For example 3×150+70 mm2 or 5×150 mm2) in this connection I would like to know exactly the paragraph of IEC or IEEE number

In electrical locomotive engines, the DC series motors is being used as traction motor. But in new engines like in WAP7 & WAG9 the 3-phase squiral cage induction motors has replaced them. So can someone tell me the advantages of induction motor over dc seris motor in engines points of view....???

What is the need of earthing transformer for delta side of a transformer. (Think of a line section between a star/delta transformer at a grid substation and delta/star transformer at a village. An earthing transformer is there at the delta side of the star/delta transformer at grid substation). As there are no ground reference there will not be fault current if a one phase is grounded. Further L-L phase will be sensed by the primary side of star/delta transformer as a L-G fault. So why an earthing transformer is required at delta side
