what happens when the transformer is connected to DC supply?
Answer Posted / dharmans
when we r transformer connected to the DC supply it 's
winding should be burnt. because, in DC supply there is no
back EMF. when there is no back EMF then the primary winding
get higher current then the winding will be burst. so any
were any time we don't connect the DC supply to the
transformer.
