A farmer needs 8 gallons of water. He has only three unmared
buckets, two 6 gallon and one 11 gallon bucket.
How can he collect 8 gallons of water using three unmarked
buckets? Provide solution with minimal water wastage.

The question never states you can or can not split the
buckets. It only states you have 3 unmarked buckets.
Logically the 2 smaller buckets would be the six gallon
buckets. So you would fill the 11 gallon bucket up once and
start emptying it into one of the six gallon buckets until
the 6 gallon bucket was half full (3 gallons) leaving you 8
gallons in your original bucket. The waste would be 3 gallons.
