what is the formula for calculating milliampere at different
pressure points for eg 4-20 ma = 3-15 psi but if i have to
check the ma at 4.6 ma?

this is the one of the best formula for this situation
measuring value (1) - low ranmeasge value (1)/span
=
measuring value (2) - low range value (2)/span
u know span high value - low value 4 to 20 span is =16
3 to 15 span is = 12
simple
mv1 - lrv1 = mv2 - lrv2
span span
4.6-4/16= ?-3/12 = 4.3psi ans

We are using Rosemount 5400 series Radar Level Transmitters in all types of Sump Applications having oily water hdrocarbon petrochemical nature. What we are facing the problem frequently is that always getting reading frezzed at some value. If we do power recycling , sometimes it is working . then making same freezing problem. i have used level transmitter in starch cooking preparation tank. tank total height 2mtr.sometime LT display shows some error value when tank is fully empty and diaphragm side i already checked okay no problem in diaphragm area. field cable checked 24volt and mA shows correct value while tank empty mA is 4mA. 4mA i needed that 0% but display showing 10% or 15% percentage values are varying continously please give any good solution for me.....
