routing protocol-routers to dynamically find all the n/w in
the internetwork and ensure that all routers have the same
routing table.
ex:-rip,eigrp & ospf
routed protocol-routed protocol are assigned to an interface
and detrmine the method of packet delivery.
ex:-ip and ipv6
