why 4-20 mA signal is preferred over a 0-10V signal
Answer Posted / shahaji shelke
To troubleshoot the loop or transmission signals,if voltage
signals is used it is difficult to troubleshoot due to it's
non linear properties as well as it's voltage drop within
the transmission, but due to linear current properties it is
easy to troubleshoot the transmission signal or 4-20 mA
signal.
Due to this the 4-20 mA is used in signal transmission.
