The energy stored in each battery is = voltage of the
battery x AH of the battery in watt hour.If you multiply
this with the number of batteries ,you will arrive at total
energy stored in watt hour.This when divided by the load in
watts will give you back up time in hours.This method holds
good for both series and parallel connections of batteries .
