ECC stands for Enterprice Central Componet.
bewlow are few versions.
SAP R/3 release 3.11
SAP R/3 release 4.0B
SAP R/3 release 4.5B
SAP R/3 release 4.6A

SAP R/3 Enterprise Eddition (EE 4.7)
SAP R/3 Enterprise Central Component (ECC 5.0)

SAP R/3 Enterprise Central Component (ECC 7.0).
hello here ECC editions having Java stack GUI and its
supported by java, but lower version than ECC does't
contain Java stack, it's having only ABAP stack GUI).
