1.what type of oil used in tranformer.
2.oil vesocity.
3.oil gauge.
4.witch time oil filterring & how much temperature
maintaned.
Answer Posted / pawar shyamkant sitaram
1] Minaral oil is used in the Transformer after filtration.
2] Oil viscosity is imprtant parameter to be watched while
transformer is in service.Normal practical value is between
21 to 27 CST.
3]Oil gauge is used to indicate the oil level in the
transformer.MoG is common gauge used in transformers main
tank coservator.
4]Generally temp. maintained at the time of oil filteration
is 65 to 75 deg.C.However it is to be decided by the
utility at what temp.fiteration is to be carried out.Oil
condition,Oil BDV & water containt in ppm are the main
factors for maintaining temperature while filtration.
