I want to create a 30Gb of size in three different disks
10Gb,5Gb and 15Gb respectively in VxVm , how can we create
it kindly explain step by step procedure.

Ans: Ex: Three different disks.
c0t0d0 -- 10 GB
c0t1d0 -- 5 GB
c0t2d0 -- 15 GB
#vxdctl enable
#/etc/vx/bin/vxdisksetup -i c0t0d0
#/etc/vx/bin/vxdisksetup -i c0t1d0
#/etc/vx/bin/vxdisksetup -i c0t2d0
Create a disk group.
#vxdg init <dgname> disk01=c0t0d0
#vxdg -g <dgname> adddisk disk02=c0t1d0
#vxdg –g <dgname> adddisk disk03=c0t2d0
#vxdg list -- Now we can see the newly created dg that is
30 GB
To see the maximum size of the volume;
#vxassist -g <dgname> maxsize layout=layouttype
#vxassist -g <dgname> make <volume-name> <size-30G>
If it is vxfs,
#mkfs –F vxfs /dev/vx/rdsk/dgname/volume-name
#mount –F vxfs /dev/vx/dsk/dgname/volume-name /mount-point
