Hi,

Vlan is defined as switching.Vlan is configured in Switch.
The procedure to configure Vlan is connect switch console
to CPU and configure Vlan .
# config
config# sh vlan
config# vlan int(fa01)
config# vlan (range of ip address)

BY configuring Vlan one can permit or deny access to
particular port on switch and can make bandwidth changes
through Vlan .By default bandwidth is 100 and we can reduce
it to 10 .
