why 1.25 factor is to be multiplied to cylindrical strength
of concrete while getting the equvalent cubical strength of
concrete?
Answer Posted / b.srinivasarao
generally cylindricalstrength is equalto cube strength,
when cylender height to dia. ratio is 2:1, because
correction factor for cylindrical strength is
f=0.11n+0.78, where n=HEIGHT OF CYLINDER/DIA.OF CYLINDER.
SO IF H/D RATIO VARIES CORRECTION FACTOR ALSO VARIES
