With its core business focused onengineering, construction and operation of power generating plants and providing consultancy to power utilities in India (and even abroad) , it strives to help India meet its increasing power demand. Such a big burden means a huge opportunity and big responsibility which in-turn I believe would provide vast grounds for its employees to learn; to understand the current power scenario and the ways in which it can be improved; and to implement their technical and managerial skills to the fore by working as a well organized team to make the company reach its targets. In short, being a part of India¶s growth inspires me to take up a career in NTPC which I am sure will offer me boundless opportunities to learn and explore.
