can u please tell me the different types of valve uses and
wt purposes it is used ~!(controlling the flow other than
that which valve should be used in what place)
Answer Posted / www.islamqa.com
We can devide valve types by 3 considerations:
# valve types with considering valve function- so we have:
on/off valve
control valve( or called throttling or modulating valve )
safety/relief valve
check valve
# valve types with considering stem motion- so we have:
linear motion which have: globe, gate, bench valve
rotary motion which have: ball, butterfly, disk valve
# valve types with considering actuator type- so we have:
manual valve
MOV (Motorized Operating Valve)
solenoid valve
pneumatic valve: diaphragm, piston valve
hydrolic valve: piston valve

We Have Two Field bus Pressure Transmitters of Different Sensor Range (I.E One is of Lower range and Another is of Higher Range). Is same Process Line. My Question is Can i provide Saturation Limit to my field Bus Transmitter as We can provide Saturation current limit to HART Instruments. As During Low Pressure Both Working OK ,But During High Pressure, transmitter with Lower sensor range Goes to Fault mode as Beyond its Sensor Limit it can Measure, So may I provide Saturation point Some where to Suppress This Fault during High Pressure.
I was working on calibrating turbidity transmitters endress+hauser at effluent polishing plant. We calibrated using NTU buffers. What happened is that when we immersed the sensor, everytime we raise and lower the sensor gradually, the reading will vary.my question is that is there any specifications on what is the required distance from the bottom of the container with buffer to the face of the sensor? Is it ok to install the sensor in a medium which has turbulence specially if bubbles are present?
