Confine mode
On: child objects cannot be moved outside their
enclosing parent objects.
Off: child objects can be moved outside their enclosing
parent objects.
Flex mode:
On: parent borders "stretch" when child objects are moved
against them.
Off: parent borders remain fixed when child objects are
moved against them.
