Ns=synchronous speed in r.p.m.
f=supply frequency in Hz
p=no. of poles

so
Ns= (120x50)/6
Ns=6000/6
Ns=1000rpm

how commomn gate triggering is given for TRIAC ? other thyristor wont be efffected?
