ROM is an abbreviation for Read-Only Memory. It is an area
of data storage devoted to information that will not be
updated or changed. Image files stored in ROM were famously
used in simple electronic video games (e.g., as backgrounds
for Super Nintendo and Game Gear game titles). ROM is used
less frequently today, as faster access rates have been
achieved for data storage in Random Access Memory (RAM).

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the difference between SYSVOL and NTDS folder in AD? I know SYSVOL is for shared information between Domain controllers, but isn't AD database shared as well? Don't they use the same DB which is stored in NTDS folder? I know SYSVOL size is much smaller than NTDS', but what is it for? Does it contain a part of NTDS folder? If so, what namely? Thanks
